scoring mare, she had the distinct honor of being singled
out as one of the highest scoring Thoroughbred mares in
the history of the GOV, both in North America and

At the 2007 American Hanoverian Society Inspection at
Hedgeland Equestrian Complex in Waterford, Virginia,
she was Reserve Champion mare receiving very high
scores.  The highlights were: head 9, saddle position 8,
frame 8, conformation 8, typiness/femininity 8, overall
impression 8.

Her sire, Macsen's Sword, produced top hunter/jumpers
and event horses including: My True Knight; Amber Lust;
and International Event Mare Guinevere's Gift.

On April 21, 2009,
Helvetica delivered the beautiful filly Sonata--by Soprano pictured on the Soprano
2009 Foals page.  Sonata is Helvetica's first foal and we are thrilled with the filly she has produced.

KAREN J xx is the newest addition to Olde Country Farm's group of broodmares. KAREN
2008 foal, DENA SCF--bred by Carlos and Karin Jimenez of Sporting Chance Farm --was
awarded First Premium and named the number one Jumper Foal Champion at the 2008 KWPN of
North America Keuring at Iron Spring Farm in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.  
KAREN J was presented
to the German Oldenburg Verband in September of 2008 at Riverside Equestrian in Bluemont,
Virginia and entered into the GOV Main Mare Book.  
KAREN J has good conformation, is very
athletic, a very nice mover, and exhibits a lovely character and personality.

On April 30, 2009,
KAREN J delivered a very special colt by Soprano, pictured on the Soprano
2009 Foals page.

Registered American Hanoverian Society
Bred by Olde Country Farm, RAZZ and JAZZ was named the best filly presented at the
2002 American Hanoverian Society Inspection at Hilltop Farm in Colora, Maryland.  She is
in the Main Stud Book and is also Elite eligible.  
Razz and Jazz has very good
conformation and a fantastic character and personality.  
Her sire, RIO GRANDE, won
his Stallion Performance Test in 1991 scoring an excellent 135 points.  He was shown with
great success as a Grand Prix Jumper with his rider, Eric Lamaze.  They were part of Team
Canada who won the Nations Cup in New York and Toronto in 1995.  They also won an
international class at the 1995 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.  One of the most memorable
events in Rio Grande's show career was a close second place in the Shell Cup Derby at
Spruce Meadow.
 RIO GRANDE has sired many of the very best Hunters in North
America as well as several very successful Grand Prix Jumpers.

RAZZ and JAZZ's Dam, Green Valley Lady xx,  was a very successful Event Horse up to
Intermediare.  She was entered in the Main Mare Book of the German Oldenburg Verband
(GOV) and the Stud Book of the American Hanoverian Society.  Green Valley
exceptionally beautiful, athletic Thoroughbred mare.

LAST MYSTIC has proven to be an

LAST MYSTIC is by the outstanding French bred Thoroughbred stallion MYSTIC II who is well
know for producing
BABAMIST, America's leading sire of event horses including HEYDAY, who won
Pan American Gold, Olympic Silver, and World Bronze, and many other top horses.

Her sire, MYSTIC II, raced at 2 and 3 in Europe where he had 14 starts (5-5-1) including stakes wins
in France and a stakes placing in Germany. After being imported to the U.S. he had 79 starts (15-15-11)
from 3 to 7 years of age. At stud he got China Run (steeplechase stakes winner of the Temple Gwathmey
and the Charles L. Appleton Memorial while setting a new course record), Freeman’s Hill (set a new
track record and won the Maryland Hunt Cup Steeplechase twice, at 10 and 11 years old), Life’s Illusion
(Champion Steeplechaser of 1975), Mystan (third in the Blockhouse Hurdle Handicap), Mystic Lad
(winner of 7 races and second in the Elkridge Hurdle Handicap), Onamystic (new course record setter
and second in the Virginia Gold Cup Steeplechase), Soothsayer (Champion Steeplechaser of 1972),
Springdale (Grand prix winning jumper in the U.S.) and Springer (Canadian Equestrian Team jumper),
among others.

our broodmares.  Fleur is a stunning mare with beautiful movement and a great deal of

Imported to the USA by Anne Gribbons, Fleur is an outstanding example of the proven
Florestan/Donnerhall cross, and as a four-year old, was among the top 10 mares in Denmark.
She has three outstanding gaits and a very easy-going, pleasant demeanor. Feauty was
presented to the American Hanoverian Society in 2009 and easily entered into the Main Stud
Book with a final score of 7.67.

Feauty is by the approved stallion Blue Hors Future Cup (by Florestan out of Disco
Lady (by Disco Star x Apart), a finalist in the Federalist Championships in Warendorf and
winner of the 5 Year Old and Older Stallion Class at the Danish National Stallion Show.
Future Cup was known for his extravagant gaits and exceptional character. He often received
scores of 10 for rideability as a young stallion.

At Dressage at Devon 2013, Sonata placed 2nd out of 28 horses in the German
Oldenburg Verband Individual Breed Class
with an overall score of 80.8% out of 28
!  She received the 2nd highest score (just behind Totil Hit) given to any horse in all
of the DAD Individual Breed classes.
